Young and old come to Wakamatsuya to eat any number of our deep fried kamaboko—all of which are fried in 100% rice bran oil—a healthy and heart-smart alternative to other fatty foods.
At Wakamatsuya, we us only rice bran oil to deep fry our kamaboko, a mild and flavorful healthier choice of cooking oil. It is naturally low in saturated fat and rich in the anti-oxidant Vitamin E, as well as oleic and linoleic fatty acids, and contains no cholesterol or trans fatty acids. Our deep fried treats have an exceptionally light flavor with a soft outer texture and no heavy aftertaste.
